A charitable gift annuity provides fixed payments to you for life in exchange for your gift of cash or securities to Tower Hill School. Competitive rates and guaranteed income may make this gift a perfect fit for you.
A charitable gift annuity could be right for you if:
You want to maintain or increase your cash flow.
You want the security of fixed, dependable payments for life.
You want to save income taxes or capital gains taxes.
You would like income that may be partially tax-free.
You want to make a generous gift to Tower Hill, and are considering a gift amount of $10,000 or more.
You are at least 65 years of age.
The IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) allows individuals age 70½ or older to make an outright gift of as much as $100,000 annually to Tower Hill School from a traditional IRA. The withdrawal amount may count toward your annual required minimum distribution (RMD). Although the RMD is not required until age 72, the QCD can be particularly beneficial for donors who do not itemize and instead file the standard deduction.
The QCD must be paid directly from your IRA to Tower Hill School.
