Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope aims to provide each child with a positive, safe and enriching after-school experience; as an extension of the Lower and Middle Schools, we seek to engage children in activities to support a diversity of interests as well as cognitive and physical abilities. Children enjoy downtime and a snack before heading to an enrichment program, completing homework or engaging in free play with friends. This year we will continue to use an online platform called Homeroom that will allow for online registration and payment for Kaleidoscope, enrichment classes and camps. Additionally, as always, we will be open when school is closed with the exception of national holidays, for an additional fee of $100 per full day and $60 half day. These days are a separate registration with limited spots and are made available to register the month prior to the school closing. Beginning in the 2024-2025 school year, Kaleidoscope is $13 per hour/$6.50 per half hour and $25 as a drop-in. 

Registration and Payment 

• Registration is Aug. 1-Aug. 30  Register here for Kaleidoscope, which begins after the first day of school. In order to assure proper staffing, no changes can be made after Oct. 6. Register early to save a spot for your child. Make sure to update your child’s grade/age within their profile before registering.
• Families will be charged by credit card each month through monthly invoices generated by Homeroom. 

Extended Day

• Extended Day is offered for Tower Tots through sixth grade with pick-up times at 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
• Registration opens Aug. 1 via Homeroom; register early to save a spot for your child. 
• Make sure to update your child’s grade/age before registering. 
• In order to ensure proper staffing, changes cannot be made after the first day of school. 

Enrichment

Our Kaleidoscope Enrichment Program offers students in Tower Tots through sixth grade the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of extracurricular activities, such as dance, graphic design, chess, Chinese, field hockey, martial arts, music, painting, science, soccer, theater and yoga.

Register Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. through Sept. 13. Register online for Enrichment Programs through Homeroom. Brochures will be sent home on the first day of school. Register early as classes fill up quickly.

Holiday Coverage

Kaleidoscope will continue to be open when school is closed (except for national holidays). There will be a fee of $100 per full day and $60 per half-day for all students who attend Kaleidoscope when school is closed. Family discounts are available.
